my daughter ten years has a well defined midline extra axial triangular shaped systic area seen implicating the qudrigeminal cistern area below the selenium and body of the corpus callosum . it measures 2.5*3cm in its maximum dimensions. it follows CSF in all pulse sequences . it extends in-between the bodies of both lateral ventricles . mild mass effect is noted in the form of mild effacement of the pulvinar of both thalami as well as trigon of both lateral ventricles . no associated obstructive hydrocephalic changes .
